David Rechtman, an accomplished director of hundreds of TVCs globally, excels in drama, comedy, children, animals, beauty, and visual effects. After graduating from Australia's VCA School of Film & Television in 1993, his award-winning short film "Crimestoppers" screened internationally. His first feature film, "2-Door Mansion," won multiple awards, including ‘Best Film’ at Cologne International Comedy Film Festival and ‘Best Comedy’ at Moondance International Film Festival. David has directed TVCs for major brands such as Coca-Cola, Dove, Ford, KFC, Pepsi, Samsung, Sony, and Virgin. He has been a finalist at Cannes and Clio’s, and won Gold at Australia’s AWARD for his Foosball campaign. Now a freelance commercial director co-based in Thailand and Vietnam, David maintains strong relationships with clients and agencies across Australia and Asia.
